Declare Your Independence!!!

Thank you to everyone who braved the heat and came out to Declare Your Independence! If it weren't so hot there would have been more of us and it would have been merrier, but I think we did well considering! We got a nice write-up in the Sunday paper with TWO photos! And it was encouraging to see all the new faces!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a true grassroots effort! Individuals taking personal responsibility to connect with like-minded folks and make our voices heard! We are building a community of concerned people who refuse to be apathetic any longer! We will spread the word and encourage others to get involved! We will concentrate on what we agree on and not let the parties or mainstream media divide us.
Friday, July 3rd- Greenville Area Tea Party!!!!
I think we got a lot of attention on Wesley Street! Don't you think the evening rush hour traffic would be just about as good as the lunch hour? Especially on a Friday?
Let's meet around 4:30 PM at the corner of Wesley and Kari at the corner near Staples like we did last time. Bring your friends and family! Let's have a HUGE turnout!
Bring lawn chairs and umbrellas if you like. I'll see if we can get a local establishment to donate some lemonade.
I'd say for signs let's focus on God Given Liberty. However that lines up with the current issues. Look around and realize how "NOT free" we really are.
I'm thinking health freedom is really important with further socialization/nationalization of our healthcare "system" VERY close at hand. Not to mention mandantory vaccinations for the "swine flu pandemic".
Here are some suggestions: Remember let's keep this non-partisan and not personal. Your sign should cause people to think, not just turn them off so they can easily dismiss the message.
Free Market - not Facsism
Health Freedom not "free" health care
Taxation = plunder
Resistance to Tyranny is Obedience to God
What part of "Shall Not Be Infringed" do you not understand?
Census = Counting heads, not privacy invasion!
Patrick Henry tried to warn us!
Tenure Corrupts - Vote Them Out!
No More Nanny State!
Personal Responsibility!
Tyranny = Terrorism
Audit the Fed/End the Fed! HR 1207 and SB 604
It's looking more and more like 1984!
